For the longest time I thought that an larger quality subwoofer would forever be outside my price range. On occasion of my 50th birthday, replaced my trusty SB3000 with this beast and couldn't be happier!!
1. Plays music just as tight and quick as a smaller sub - which i didn't expect from an 18 incher.
2. Goes down to 10Hz in room, effortlessly
3. Integrated extremely well with my speakers. Got an extremely even in room response, and was able to tame the room mode - the inbuilt PEQ is effective.
4. My 20-20Kz response with 1/12 and psychoacoustic smoothing are included for reference. This is far better than what I could achieve with the SVS
5. My 10-200 Hz Subwoofer only response with no smoothing is also the best I've ever achieved.
6. Can feel the impact even at low volumes. I'm generally listening to music at -40 to -30 after calibrating at 75db. Even at those low volumes bass impact and presence is incredible.
Cons:
1. The handles although very necessary to move this behemoth, take away from the finish a little bit. Although only 1 side is visible in my set up, I wish they could be removed and left with a flat surface after.

So my neighbor passed gave me his sub swd4000 noticed was wierd he pounding it I think but shortly after sub blows. Hifi set me up quick even no I had only his info he died thank you hifi great warrenty as well solid no worries I'll be back and suggest everyone to due the same

I was the happy owner of a 15 in Paradigm Servo sub . I decided to upscale my setup by getting not one but two 18 in Pretium . Yes it is a little overkill. Those subs can make your room shake like crazy. For HT purpose, it is a huge step up. Gotta be careful cause you can make your neighbor become unfriendly with a reason. I cant compare to any SVS subs as i never had any. For music , it is a welcomed addition to my Polk Audio R700 speakers. Best of all is the app that controls the subs. Very useful as the sub frequency/levels are mixed very differently from one source to another. I will typically adjust the levels when i begin a listening/watching session. Some material has way too much making it undesirable..I just slide a control on my phone for a more comfortable level..a great product at a reasonable price

Dealing with Aamir was a pleasure

I highly recommend this new dual 15. I originally was going to get a tonewinner d4000 but Aamir called me up and suggested this instead. I find this sub to be a great addition to my home theatre setup. I was thinking in time I might get a buttkicker and another sub to go with it. There is no need for either. This sub fills the room with really deep bass and vibrates the seating with no dead spots. I can't imagine anyone needing more than this sub provides. It also is at a great price with it being about two thirds the price of two single 15 inch subs but with the power of the 18 inch sub. It comes with a glossy painted finish that looks really slick instead of the typical veneer found on other subs and speakers. The sub is easily controlled by a phone app. that removes the need to be fiddling around at the back of the sub. I've had a great experience buying from Summit and with Aamir who always has time for his customers.

This amp is well built and heavy and it runs cool driving my 7.2.4 system. My Denon 3800 would get pretty warm just running my original 7.1 system. The shopping experience was great with Aamir providing great advice during my purchase. I've heard there may be a Summit processor coming and I look forward to potentially adding that to my system.

Well built, definitely lived up to my expectations, Aamir was great to deal with and quick to reply answering my questions. Would definitely recommend checking out SUMMIT HI-FI to anyone in the market for quality equipment and providing great service.

Big thanks to Aamir. After talking with him he asked me to wait for the launch of the Summit Hi-Fi Pretium 15” Sub. He said new series would be a better fit for my needs and wants. The app has all the features to easily control frequency range, filter slope, phase, and phase angle, room modes, and input gain. They say a good sub should not provide a focused location and this beast blended seamlessly into my system. My bass is now tight and accurate with my mains and fills in the bottom end to pressurize the room for chest thump. This sub delivered and surpassed on all my expectations in performance, finish, and price.

Just needed to give a review of these amazing subs.
I ordered two from Aamir and got them in perfect condition.
The box was packaged well, and WOW… the finish on these subs… BEAUTIFUL. Black matte lacquer.

The sub is very well built, very heavy and solid. I did the knock test — solid, damped.

Man, I let these things rip to break in for a full day with drum and bass. The amps didn’t even get warm… WOW.

Now the bass — HOLY MOLY. So damn deep, tight, and POWERFUL. They energize the room with ease.
I even looked at the woofers during crazy bass, and they were hardly even moving… WTH.

I played lots of songs, and damn, these are tight, deep, and powerful.

Then I tried some flicks, like the new Wolfman… holy crap. My room came to life with the air pressure I was hearing — or should I say felt. WOW.

I had Paradigm Sub 15, X12, JL, SVS PB3000, and these things walk over all of them. And like I said, the woofers are hardly even moving.
If you push them, they say “more.” And when you do get woofer movement… be warned, your foundation may suffer. I’m not kidding.

Aamir was awesome as always. The best guy I have ever dealt with. And his new subs are so damn amazing. And the price… OH MY. Good luck getting JL, Paradigm , svs to match these for the price ..

Summit Hi-Fi Pretium 15 DSP Subwoofers – Enthusiast Audiophile Review

Having previously owned an SVS PB-3000 Pro and dual SVS PB-1000 Pro, I didn’t expect to be surprised easily—but the pair of Summit Hi-Fi Pretium 15 DSP subwoofers genuinely raised the bar in my home theater. At this point, any manufacturer hoping to displace them from my listening room has a very high target to beat.

From a performance standpoint, the Pretium 15s deliver deep extension, serious output, and excellent control. Low frequencies are felt as much as heard, yet remain composed and articulate. During intense LFE scenes (Dune, Furiosa, Fury), the subs maintained clean transient response with no sense of compression or strain. On the music side—ranging from jazz to heavy rock—the bass stayed tight and musical. Even fast double kick drum passages showed no smearing, no overhang, and no audible distortion, which speaks volumes about driver control and amplifier headroom.

The onboard DSP is a real asset, allowing precise integration and room optimization. Once dialed in, the subs disappear sonically, leaving only a solid, well-defined low-frequency foundation.

Beyond performance, Summit Hi-Fi is clearly a brand to watch. The owner, Aamar, is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about audio. Having spent many thousands of dollars on hi-fi gear over the years, I can confidently say he is by far one of the most dedicated, transparent, and pleasant people I’ve dealt with in this industry. Shipping to Québec was fast and smooth.

Final verdict: powerful, clean, technically sound, and musically honest subwoofers backed by a company that inspires confidence. The Pretium 15s didn’t just meet expectations — they exceeded them, decisively.

Very well built unit. Powerhouse. It's built with a lot of metal and brings my sound system alive coupled with an Anthem AVM-60.

I am very impressed with this amp. Not only does it look fantastic, it can easily power 7 speakers in a home theatre. The sound is very clean with tons of power on tap. I am very privileged to have this amp in my theatre set up. I also want thank Aamir for his excellent customer service!

I was looking to upgrade from my single PB16 Ultra and the next logical progression was the 17 ultra so I called Aamir to get 1 or possibly 2 ordered as I don't like upgrading often and the other side of my brain regretted not getting dual 16 ultras. Aamir was really pushing the D9000's but having come from 4 previous SVS sub versions I was reluctant to go to a relatively unknown brand and we all know how SVS' customer service is ( or was being in Canada and things have changed for us north of the border). Aamir had 2 D9000's at my doorstep before I even said yes, just a text saying Owen (can't give him enough props) is on the way this morning! No excuse not to give them a try now lol. They are heavy (heavier than the 16 Ultra) so if you're thinking about bringing them up any stairs, don't......you've been warned. Finish on them is good but maybe 9/10ths of what SVS is, again I have only had SVS before hence the comparison. Setup was incredibly easy and the app is easy to use with a load of options. With only 1 hooked up first (again this was a trial for me) it was immediately a noticeable improvement! My new theater room is in the basement, carpet over concrete slab and we all know what that does to bass. I had the tactile punch back, not like it was on a wood subfloor but a lot more than the 16 ultra! I use the spa scene from John Wick to test tactile punch, the gunshots used to hit me right in the chest and the D9000 brought it back! I ran a calibration through my receiver and retested with Top Gun Maverick. This sub rocks! Now I don't know what this sub put out for max SPL or what it's REW graphs look like but audibly to me this things trounces the 16 Ultra! I have both installed now and it's so smooth and even, again this is by ear and what I know of sub calibration (which is not a lot).

There is no reason in the world to go with SVS, the 17 Ultra is $5450+ tax, 2 of these are roughly the same price taxes in! I used to be an SVS fanboy but these have switched me over! SVS has increased their prices to anyone outside the US and that's a shame because they are going to lose a ton of customers once people put one of these in the room! SVS' warranty is awesome but with TW you have a longer warranty (seriously!!!) and TW has Aamir! This man seals the deal on any purchase I make and I would gladly pay a bit more $$$ and buy something from him. His CS, personality and general attitude to make sure you are completely happy is a a dying trait these days. Do it, you won't regret it! Thanks again Aamir!

I purchased two ToneWinner SW-D4000 subwoofers from Summit Hi-Fi and had a very positive experience. The ordering process was smooth and communication was excellent. Aamir was especially kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the process.

The D4000 subwoofers deliver deep, powerful bass and integrate extremely well into my home theater. Running dual subs made a noticeable improvement in impact and overall bass quality for movies and gaming. Build quality and performance are outstanding for the price.

I sold my SVS PB-3000 subwoofers with intentions to swap to the PB16 Ultra or even try out the SB16 Ultra as I typically run my subs sealed. Out of curiosity I ordered two D6000 subs to play with. I had 0 intentions of keeping the subs as I thought they may sound bloated and not be a good fit for music.

Ive since thrown out the boxes and will be keeping both D6000 subs and would highly recommend these to anyone looking for new subwoofers.

These are better than my SVS subwoofers. I would say the sound signature is similar to SVS, providing the subwoofers are dialed in to account for the rooms peaks and nulls. However the D6000 has a lot more output and the ability to play at the same volumes effortlessly where as the PB3000s had to be pushed pretty hard to get the same output leading to distortion/ driver noise and port chuffing.

I've run these subs both ported and sealed. The built in DSP accounts for using the port plugs and both profiles work great. After running Dirac a few times and making multiple profiles for sealed and ported, I ended up liking the ported profile just as much as the sealed. Just goes to show that these subs can be gentle giants providing they are set up correctly.

Music is very detailed and the subs blend perfectly with my mains( Kef R11 Metas) which is what I was worried about initially for a budget subwoofer. Budget by no means means compromised sound quality in this case.

Movies these subwoofers shine! The ability to rattle your room if you want or to blend in and hide amongst your speakers with clean impactful bass. These subs can do it all!

Room Dimensions:
20'x20'x8' Slightly Asymmetrical as there is a dry bar to one side. Not closed off to the joining room.

These two subs still pressurize the room and have a lot more gas in the tank.
