Very well built unit. Powerhouse. It's built with a lot of metal and brings my sound system alive coupled with an Anthem AVM-60.
Shipped very quickly and well packaged.
I am very impressed with this amp. Not only does it look fantastic, it can easily power 7 speakers in a home theatre. The sound is very clean with tons of power on tap. I am very privileged to have this amp in my theatre set up. I also want thank Aamir for his excellent customer service!
I upgraded to the Summit Hi-Fi A11 and the difference was immediate. The system sounds more controlled and effortless, especially at higher volumes. Bass is tighter, dialogue is clearer, and the soundstage feels more open. The amp never sounds strained and has plenty of headroom for my speakers. Build quality is solid and it runs cool. Customer service was excellent. Aamir personally called me with delivery details and shipping was fast. Very happy with this upgrade.
It's a very good value for a 5 channel amp in Canada. I think it performs well, but make sure you use a 12v trigger cable when using it. If left on you'll get a very audible buzzing/humming from your speakers. When turned on with my AVR, it makes a very feint buzzing that I can't hear unless I press my ear up to the speakers. The only other issue I have is with the bright blue power light at the front of it. Black tape solves this, but makes it look not as pretty. Generally, I would suggest this to someone looking for a good value home theatre option.
Really nice products!
Really good amp!
Fast shipping!
Thanks for seller!
I was stunned by how quickly my order was completed, I received the amplifier just 5 days after i ordered it. The fun part was trying to put the amp in my rack, it really is heavy. I was impressed with the construction of the amp. After wiring it up , I was blown away how great it sounded. Thanks for a great service and product. I am now waiting for the AT-600 processor. This amp is amazing. I am driving an $18K pair of Acoustic Solutions Figaro M2 speakers with this amp. Tons of power no noise floor and all the dynamics and imagery you would expect. I am a quality manager for an aerospace machine shop. The case on this amp is machined very nicely, and the complete assembly is flawless. I have seen several amps 5-10 times the cost of this amp and I would chose the Tonewinner. Very impressed, and a great value in this market. I have plans on buying at least three more amps in the Tonewinner line. Aamir of course is awesome with true customer service. If you’re on the fence about buying a Tonewinner amp I suggest you get off and order the amp. You won’t regret it.
I had this for quite a while. Sense Amir was so nice to help me troubleshoot the issues I had with a firmware update this unit has no connection issues whatsoever anymore. If you have a PC I highly recommend hooking the HDMI from the computer to the Tonewinner for the best possible sound and a Displayport to HDMI cable to the TV for the best picture and if your running more then 120hz refresh rate. This unit is amazing for sound quality. If you pair it with a strong external amp with XLR then you'll be blown away. Didn't even have to run room correction either. For the price this exceeded other processors and receivers that are double and tripple the price. Also note of you have any issues Amir will gladly take the time to help you till things are satisfied.
I am replacing some legacy equipment and was looking for a solution that would replace an existing single Sunfire Sub. This room is quite large and with the help from Amir, I decided to go all in with two SW-D9000, the D6000s were not currently in stock. This was an easy decision for me.
First off, my interaction from start to finish with SummitHiFi was fantastic. Great communication and the units shipped extremely quickly to my location in the US. The only issue being with DHL having the vehicle to transport these to my home. I also worked with the delivery guys to get these into my basement.
Once in place and configured via the Tonewinner app, I was able to put them through the paces. To be clear, I was looking for sound quality. I was not concerned about look or size, but man these things are huge. These subs are 100% drop in. I did a little configuration, but in all honestly it was not required. I matched these with the Tonewinner AT-500 and the SummitHifi A7 Amp. I was replacing old equipment and the difference was incredible. I cannot say enough good things about the Subs. There are a few reviews that will detail the performance of the Sub, but for me it is all about the sound and how well it seamlessly integrates with my existing speakers.
It creates a warm and powerful bass that does not overpower the sound stage. It simply is present and not controlling. You feel the bass before you hear it and the power just sneaks up on you. It was so fun to rewatch a bunch of my reference movies and hear them in a new an amazing way.
If you are on the fence with these I suggest going for it. Lots of other companies will direct their profits to advertising and filling up social media feeds. These guys are directing their profits in R&D and creating the best value out there. I should say directing their profits towards performance and quality and also offering them at an extremely fair price.
Summit Hi-Fi was very good to work with. They sent out the product quickly and arrived faster than anticipated. would definitely recommend them and would definitely do business with them again.
I was looking to upgrade from my single PB16 Ultra and the next logical progression was the 17 ultra so I called Aamir to get 1 or possibly 2 ordered as I don't like upgrading often and the other side of my brain regretted not getting dual 16 ultras. Aamir was really pushing the D9000's but having come from 4 previous SVS sub versions I was reluctant to go to a relatively unknown brand and we all know how SVS' customer service is ( or was being in Canada and things have changed for us north of the border). Aamir had 2 D9000's at my doorstep before I even said yes, just a text saying Owen (can't give him enough props) is on the way this morning! No excuse not to give them a try now lol. They are heavy (heavier than the 16 Ultra) so if you're thinking about bringing them up any stairs, don't......you've been warned. Finish on them is good but maybe 9/10ths of what SVS is, again I have only had SVS before hence the comparison. Setup was incredibly easy and the app is easy to use with a load of options. With only 1 hooked up first (again this was a trial for me) it was immediately a noticeable improvement! My new theater room is in the basement, carpet over concrete slab and we all know what that does to bass. I had the tactile punch back, not like it was on a wood subfloor but a lot more than the 16 ultra! I use the spa scene from John Wick to test tactile punch, the gunshots used to hit me right in the chest and the D9000 brought it back! I ran a calibration through my receiver and retested with Top Gun Maverick. This sub rocks! Now I don't know what this sub put out for max SPL or what it's REW graphs look like but audibly to me this things trounces the 16 Ultra! I have both installed now and it's so smooth and even, again this is by ear and what I know of sub calibration (which is not a lot).
There is no reason in the world to go with SVS, the 17 Ultra is $5450+ tax, 2 of these are roughly the same price taxes in! I used to be an SVS fanboy but these have switched me over! SVS has increased their prices to anyone outside the US and that's a shame because they are going to lose a ton of customers once people put one of these in the room! SVS' warranty is awesome but with TW you have a longer warranty (seriously!!!) and TW has Aamir! This man seals the deal on any purchase I make and I would gladly pay a bit more $$$ and buy something from him. His CS, personality and general attitude to make sure you are completely happy is a a dying trait these days. Do it, you won't regret it! Thanks again Aamir!
Thank you Aamir for being one of the few businesses that still has customer service. Most companies have a “customer service team “ in name only. They are people who answer the phone and give you the run around until you get frustrated and give up. They never resolve an issue. Aamir answers every question and resolves any issues you have. If Aamir say he will reach out to get you information he does and then contacts back to relay the information 🤯. Besides the great customer service his prices are reasonable and he offers great products for budget minded people.
Excellent product. Item arrive on time and as described. Thank AAmir for all your help.
I purchased two ToneWinner SW-D4000 subwoofers from Summit Hi-Fi and had a very positive experience. The ordering process was smooth and communication was excellent. Aamir was especially kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the process.
The D4000 subwoofers deliver deep, powerful bass and integrate extremely well into my home theater. Running dual subs made a noticeable improvement in impact and overall bass quality for movies and gaming. Build quality and performance are outstanding for the price.
Highly recommend both Summit Hi-Fi and the ToneWinner D4000.
I appreciate the supplier's commitment and honesty. They told me the shipping time and it was accurate. My experience has been extraordinary from start to finish. I had questions and they answered them immediately. They told me the delivery time and it was accurate. In short, I highly recommend SUMMITUSA.
Fantastic is all I can say, from purchase to shipping to products... theses things kick! I ordered 2 for balance in my media room actually the order started as D 4000s because Summit showed no stock of the 6000s on the website. Then I got the phone call! They had limited stock of the 6000s so my order quickly changed! They aren't even eqed yet and probably gonna need some break in time to loosen up, but already I'm flat out impressed! Follow up review to come as soon as they get properly set up.
It's a beast of an amp! I upgraded from an OSD HTA5200 to the A7 and it really brought my Polk ES Series speakers to life. So much more detail and clarity. The 10.1 inch display is just icing on the cake
I emailed Aamir and asked about three two channel amplifiers that I was interested in, one being the ToneWinner AD1 PA which was my favorite based on looks alone and the last was the SummitHF A2. I was actually looking to purchase two of either one to use in mono to power my Arendal 1528 which can handle up to 1000 watts RMS. He actually called me on the phone and talked about all three where two of them were ToneWinners. He talked me into giving the Summit Hi Fi A2 a try. Looking at the specs it had the highest damping factor which is important for good bass it also has low noise and distortion specs. Aamir could have sold me the more expensive amplifier and possibly two of them but he didn’t. After receiving the amp, I wasn’t too impressed by the looks of it and it only came with a power cable no trigger cable. Long story short, I am blown away by how smooth and powerful this amp made my speakers sound. Bass is so effortless and tight. Highs are neutral sounding but excellent. My speakers are 4 ohms so I am getting around 600 watts RMS per channel and believe me, it is more than enough. I’m loving the way drum beats hit you in the chest at moderate volumes. It doesn’t look like anything special until the screen is activated but this thing is built like a tank and sounds at least 10 times its price. The inner guts is where the business is. You were right Aamir but I paid $200 more than the current price just last week. What’s up with that!
The unit is nice but it does not match my ISO files to the correct movie. This has been a problem with this unit in the past and one would think this would have been solved by now. Otherwise, the unit is quite nice. It easily accommodated my two 24 TB Western Digital HDD's and was easy to use.

WOW!!! I originally wanted a SVS SB2000 Pro but had spoken to Aamir and he advised me to go with the SW-D2000 or the D4000 and started that I would love both. Well figuring this is a large purchase for me, so I stretched and went with the D4000. Once I had it setup (it's heavy!! but I am old!!), just as an aside for those with Yamaha AVR's I had adjusted the Input Level to 1VRMS from the default (2) as I read the Yamaha output lower than other AVR's, once I had done this and ran YPAO I had a 0 DB trim on the sub...and Holly Molly did it rock my house!!! The output is clean and strong...wonderfully blends with my mains and makes the whole listening experience so involving. I can't place where the bass is coming from but it shakes my room! I added the SVS Isolation feet..which bolt right on...don't know if these helped but wanted to isolate the sub as much as I could to not shake all my furniture in the room. My friend has an SVS SP 4000 and he was also amazed. The app is also great to use.
If anyone has any feedback on the SVS feet or if I am correct with my VRMS setting please provide feedback as I am new and learning as I go.
Working with Aamir has been wonderful and as I stated in the SW-D1000 review (got for a friend) he has made the whole experience a joy...he provides customer service that seems to be gone today and would buy from him again just for his advice.
If your apprehensive on buying these subs, don't be!! They are great and Aamir will look after you!!! I can't recommend enough!!!
The DMP-A10 exceeds expectations as both a versatile digital streamer combined with a top notch analog preamp. Aamir is a pleasure to interface with. Very knowledgeable and always delivers as or better than he promises. Thank you!
I can't believe the craftsmanship and quality of this amp. Other comparable amps are much more expensive. This thing is a monster and packs plenty of power. Looks as awesome as the way it wakes up my sound system!
Very articulate clean presentation.Unreal bass response. Had get rid of my little sub. Will handle larger rooms contrary to what some say. Be diligent in room placement and these little big men will truly impress. Source is important for these. Don't expect optimal performance from typical consumer grade on sale amps.Read the reviews on line. Not a negative comment. They are on sale right now as I write! Research your power source if you want to see true potential
Beautiful quality finish and will compete with floor standers in presentation.Very pleased.
